+stankovicmilan came back through the looking glass

thelandbeyondtheglass:

“It’s really fun, actually! Not too mention interesting.” He was practically glowing when he spoke of it. As much as he adored Hiroshi, he’d never taken any particular interest in exactly what Ryuu was studying. Sure, he listened, but… with Milan, it seemed different somehow. He couldn’t place just why, but it was a nice kind of different. He laughed at little when the other pointed out all his offers, and smiled more when he [sort of] offered his own language. “Actually, that sounds… nice. It never hurts to know another language. Maybe you could tell me more about your country too!”

The fact that he blushed didn’t escape the blond. Was he… he couldn’t be thinking about it, right? Not him specifically at least? And why was he half-hoping he was? He bit his tongue and pushed away the thought of it— he already had feelings for one man who didn’t return them and there was no need to add anyone else to that category. He took a deep breath and calmed himself, then rested his own hand on Milan’s to return the squeeze. “I guess it is… it certainly doesn’t hurt it, in any case,” he agreed quietly. And when the second comment came around, his face was back to scarlet. In that moment, he wished he could have taken a page out of any of his friend’s books and answered with some clever, or at least somehow graceful, but instead he just giggled nervously. Dammit.

“I Can tell, it seem interesting and cool.” He nods. The other seem relieved and happy the Serbian asked about his school. Wasn’t it something people did? Atleast its one of the things they ask in the Balkans. The usual what – where – how questions he guessed. “I’ve only spend my life in the music world so. I’m sure your studies must be a lot harder with the brains then everything I’ve done.” He chuckled quietly. Sometimes Milan wished he’d done such thing. Or something with crimes, teaching, helping people. Whenever he sees it on television he just wished he was able to do such things.

“Well yes. I know a few languages already. Serbian, English, Korean, a tiny bit of French, German and Spanish. The more you know the better right?” Another cheeky and happy smile was given to Ryuu. The smile that rarely leaves Milan’s face actually. He enjoyed all the little things in life, the stories of people and what so ever. Ryuu really seem like someone who could get closer to him – atleast that’s how Milan sees it. Ryuu seem calm and cool – Very respectful and Milan knows somewhere hidden there must be a crazy and childish side as well, just like him.  “My country? There’s so much I can tell you about Serbia. But I rather do it with pictures some other time. If I’m able to show the country I think it’s a better thing.” He smiles, actually offering the other to meet up some other time.

As soon he felt the other squeeze his hand he directly returned it with a quiet laugh – as if it’s a little game. “Still you’ve got to be careful with a job like that right? I know many horn dogs try to grab you and take you home. I’ve had friends who where in the same industry as yours and one of them got dragged out after her hours. At some point she got used and all. But I must say, it was back in Serbia so. It’s a bit dangerous at some points.” He thought for a while and squeezed again. “Just be very careful, tell them they have to treat expensive diamonds like you with a lot of care.” He chuckled – hoping the other won’t think it’s some kind of flirt or anything;
